Prof. (Dr.) S. K. Bawa is currently Vice Chancellor of Guru Kashi University, Talwandi Sabo, Bathinda. She is distinguished academician, researcher and administrator. She graduated from Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana and did Master and doctorate in Education from GNDU, Amritsar. She formally worked in Central University of Punjab, Bathinda and at Punjabi University Patiala, besides working on Deputation basis in Lovely Professional University, Punjab for six years. She has blend of rich academic and administrative experience of central, state and private universities. She has a wide exposure of functioning of the university being actively contributing in the curriculum designing, updating pedagogical techniques, policy framing and also instrumental in bringing quality in education system at Central University of Punjab, Bathinda as IQAC Director. She initiated development of various cells in the university to work for quality in research and innovations. She worked as member of core committee of curriculum of NCTE and contributed in designing of curriculum for various programmes of different universities.

Dr. Piush Verma has joined as Registrar in Guru Kashi University, Bathinda. Before Joining to GKU, Bathinda Dr. Piush Verma was working as Professor in Electrical Engg, NITTTR (Govt. of India) Chandigarh, Vice Chancellor of Bahra University Shimla Hills. Dr. Verma was Campus Director at Rayat- Bahra Group of Institutions, Patiala Campus for more than 10 years. He has served Thapar Group for more than 17 years, which includes Thapar University, Thapar Research & Development Centre, Patiala and M/s Crompton Greaves Hydro Division Ltd. Dr. Verma did his Ph.D. and Master of Engineering with Honors from Thapar University, Patiala. He has nearly 36 years of teaching, research, Industry and administrative experience. During these periods he has published many research papers. He is Member of IEEE, USA, Fellow of Institution of Engineers India, Senior Member of International Association of Computer Science and Information Technology (IACSIT), Singapore. He is honored with Best administration award from MHRD Ministry (AIMTC) and Institution of Engineers (India). He has visited more than 20 countries USA, UK, France, Indonesia, Dubai, Germany, Singapore, Malaysia Bangkok and Hong Kong, Canada etc. For research collaborative. Dr. Verma is reviewer of IEEE Transaction USA and Electrical Power system and components of Taylor and Francis UK.
